35 Free Cinematic LUTs from Rocketstock

Rocket Stock is owned by Shutterstock, so you can expect the quality of their LUTs to be good. Also, this is a great set to start with since it includes vintage and cinematic looks, as well as LUTs designed for Rec 709 footage.

13 FREE CINEMATIC LUTS FROM GROUND CONTROL COLOR

Ground Control Color has a lot of assets on their site, including some other free video editing assets, so dig around their site a bit while you’re there. Also, these LUTs are mainly for transforming your footage from one look to another, like from Log to Rec 709 or from a specific camera to Rec 709. This type of LUT can be a great starting point before you work on a more cinematic color grade. However, they also include a couple cinematic LUTs for free on the site.

70 FREE CINEMATIC LUTS FROM COLOR GRADING CENTRAL

Color Grading Central has some great tutorials on color grading, but we think the best resource they’ve provided are these free video LUTs for video editors. These LUTs can be used for any editing software, and they even have software you can upload your own image to so that you can preview the LUTs on your footage.

7 FREE CINEMATIC LUTS FROM LUTIFY.ME

Lutify.me uses a subscription model for their main LUTs, which can cost (at the time of this writing) between $29-$59. Lutify.me is widely used, so it’s worth checking out. In fact, to get the free LUTs you have to sign up for a 14 day trial.

There’s a lot of variety in these free cinematic LUTs from Premium Beat, so they should come in handy. Also, these LUTs are designed for Log footage, which is why Rocket Stock provided 35 LUTs for Rec 709 footage, since they’re both owned by Shutterstock.
