The Crucible Project ministry grew out of the longings a handful of pastors and lay leaders to push beyond the limits that characterize men’s relationships in the church. As good as small groups were at the time, these men sensed God had something more in mind when the Bible talked about men sharpening one another as “iron sharpens iron.” How could men gather together and be radically honest about their lives and support and challenge each other in grace to heal and grow?

The Crucible Project wanted to create a series of videos highlighting three stories of people that have attended their events. They knew that their emotional stories could help people that have been through similar siutations. They also wanted to create a promo video for their new app “My Journey To”, an app created to help people connect and grow.
OurStrategy
The three primary people they wanted to film lived in three different states, so we booked travel for two crew members. We had to be efficient with our gear packing, since we needed to film in a real world setting as well as green screen. We ultimately filmed 11 different people for the four videos in three different states (Illinois, Tennessee, Texas).
