NAB Show 2022 – After Parties and Events

Then, what was supposed to take place in April 2021 was pushed back to October, and then cancelled again. That means when NAB takes place this year in April, it will have been 3 full years since the last NAB in 2019. So…we’re pretty excited about it!

If you’ve been to NAB, you know that it’s not really complete without some NAB Show after parties and networking events. I mean, how often does the entire industry all get together in one city? Don’t get us wrong…we love looking at all the gear and tech, but it’s a (normally) once a year event where we get to catch up with people, make new friends, and talk about stuff that our friends and spouses probably get sick of hearing about.

So far, not a lot has been announced for NAB Show 2022 after parties and events, but we want this page to be a resource for every one we can find. We’ll update this page as things get announced, so let us know if we’re missing an after party or any other event! According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), a person is considered fully vaccinated:

• 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or
• 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Booster shots are not a requirement of full vaccination status by the CDC, but they are recommended for additional protection against COVID-19. Should the CDC change the criteria of full vaccination, NAB will update the policies and protocols to align with the new requirements.

Accepted COVID-19 vaccinations include those approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) or the World Health Organization (WHO). Examples of these vaccinations include:

• Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty
• SII/COVISHIELD
• Oxford/AstraZeneca/AZD1222
• Janssen/Ad26.COV 2.S (developed by Johnson & Johnson)
• Moderna COVID-19 (mRNA 1273)
• Sinopharm/BBIBP-CorV (Vero Cells)
• Sinovac/CoronaVac
• Bharat Biotech BBV152 COVAXIN

Mixed COVID-19 vaccine schedules of approved, authorized and/or recognized vaccines by the FDA, CDC or the WHO, are permitted to establish full vaccination status.

Details on how to provide proof of full vaccination will be posted at a later date.

Recommended masks include N95, K95, KN95, disposable surgical mask or a cloth mask.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab gutter_size=”2″ column_padding=”2″ title=”Health and Safety Measures at NAB Show” tab_id=”d939ee5d-22aa-10″][vc_column_text]NAB is working with health officials and expert consultants to monitor the situation and apply appropriate health and safety protocols for the timeframe in which the show will be held. This includes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and other appropriate global, federal, state and local health organizations.

The following health and safety measures will be in place during NAB Show:

• Proof of full vaccination will be required of attendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff
• Masks are recommended to be worn by all participants as designed to fully cover the mouth and nose
• Touchless registration system will be in place for participants to get their badge
• Proper cleaning protocols, disinfection techniques and work practices are in place by the LVCC and NAB
• HVAC upgrades have been installed at the LVCC to allow for greater ventilation as well as the use of air filters with a quality rating of MERV 14 (hospital grade filtration system)
• Meeting rooms and floor theaters will not be set at capacity to allow for socially distancing
• Transparent partitions will be placed in areas that require closer contact between visitors
• Hand sanitizer stations will be available in public spaces, meeting room corridors, show floor areas and food and beverage areas
• Increased medical staff will be onsite with reserved medical rooms
• An OnMed® telehealth station is available at the LVCC in North Hall to offer on-demand, convenient and affordable access to health care, including COVID-19 testing.
• The UMC Convention Testing Center is just steps away from the convention center and offers COVID-19 testing for travelers and convention attendees for $130 per test. Results are produced and delivered within 24 hours.
• A free contact tracing mobile app, developed by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, is available and will notify anyone if they have likely been exposed to COVID-19.
